SRWM Sledge

Profile picture for Sledge, one of the heroes from my friend Chris's original mecha series, Space Pirate Magnagog.

Something about this series' characters really screamed '70s' to me, so I based the style off Komatsubara Kazuo's work for Ginga Senpuu Braiger.

Sledge is an engineer with the space pirates, a big, lovable, occasionally drunk dude who pilots his own personal kitbash mecha and makes the hell out of an omelet.

Not that I don't love drawing all the characters for this game, but I seriously loved drawing Sledge. While the really exaggerated cartoony stuff isn't my usual style, it's fun as hell to play around with.
